Cathy has been a longtime friend of the Reyes family. She was born and raised in California and has been a resident of Solano County for over 40 years.
Cathy came on board at Cornerstone Assisted Living as the Marketing Director in late 2016. This was a big transition for Cathy since her background had been focused on the construction industry for twenty years. However, since she has joined the Calson Management team, Cathy has really found her true passion for working with seniors.
What Cathy loves most about her job is sharing the comfort and care Calson Management has to offer, along with helping not only the residents but also their families during their life transition. Cathy’s biggest reward is seeing the smiles on the residents’ faces, and knowing how much joy and happiness she brings to them is such a blessing to her.
Cathy is married to a wonderful man named Rob. Together they have four children together and two amazing grandchildren. In her free time, Cathy enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as visiting Napa Valley.

Growing up, Jolene was very close to her grandmother. She has fond memories of her grandmother, always making hot tea with French bread and cheese. The time Jolene spent with her grandmother was priceless, and she began to appreciate the kindness which comes from our loving senior community. She started out as a candy striper in a hospital, which led her to become a Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aid. Jolene worked in Skilled Nursing for 22 years.
As time went on, Jolene was hired at an Assisted Living Community, where she became Care Coordinator and Activity Director in a Memory Care Community. Jolene spent 10 years working with residents who suffer from Alzheimer’s/ Dementia. This was truly rewarding for her. She was able to bring joy and happiness to not only her residents but to their families as well. Jolene truly believes God gives each one of us our talents, and he gave her the kindness, compassion, patience, and love to care for seniors.
When her nephew, Jason Reyes, came to her and mentioned the excellent news, he was building an Assisted Living Community for the family, she was ecstatic! Regional Dining Services Coordinator
Armando started as a waiter at the age of 15 in El Paso, Texas, at the restaurant in which his father was a chef.
For 25 years, Armando worked in a variety of different restaurants and dinner houses under several renowned chefs. From there, he was the manager and head chef at two popular restaurants in Vacaville, CA.
Armando started working in the senior dining industry in 1996 and soon realized serving seniors was his true passion. He loves the impact he has on a resident, as well as the appreciation the residents have for him.
Two things Armando’s father taught him about the chef profession: never give up trying because there will always be critics and never serve something you would not eat yourself.
The love and passion are rooted in the difference Armando can see in the everyday lives of our residents. The appreciation residents have for his skills and knowledge is the highest compliment of all of and making each dining experience as pleasurable as possible, is what makes a 10-hour work day worthwhile for Armando.
Looking back at it now, working in the restaurant industry at such a young age, is a decision Armando will never regret.
